FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Levela
Short answerAnswers to common questions about Levela's services, pricing, contracts, how we work remotely, and what to expect.
What does Levela do?
Levela is a remote marketing team of independent specialists for businesses of every size, from local service companies to growing brands. We provide social media management, content creation, Facebook and Instagram ads, Google Ads, local SEO, landing pages, web design and paid ads training.
Where is Levela based?
We work remotely from Nairobi, Kenya, and serve businesses across the US, with a focus on Arizona, Texas, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. Calls happen during your business hours.
Who founded Levela?
Levela was founded by Levis, a paid ads, SEO and web specialist with more than 10 years' experience with US and Australian businesses, and Stella, a content, strategy and social media specialist with 7+ years' experience.
Is Levela an agency or freelancers?
Both, in a way. We work as independent contractors embedded in your brand, like a freelancer, but as a coordinated team with specialists for each channel, like an agency.
How much does Levela cost?
Social media management from $800/month, Meta or Google Ads from $700/month plus ad spend, local SEO from $600/month, landing pages from $450, websites from $1,500, and ads training from $180. Monthly plans are billed weekly.
Is there a contract?
No lock-in. Pay your first month upfront, then weekly after that, and cancel anytime before your next weekly payment. Projects like websites are fixed-price.
Can I see examples of your work?
Yes. Request our portfolio and we'll send work relevant to your industry. We don't publish client names without permission.
Do you need my passwords?
No. You give us partner or collaborator access to your own accounts, and you can remove it at any time.
How do I pay?
For monthly plans you pay the first month upfront, then weekly in US dollars. You pay by ACH bank transfer to our US account details or by card. One-off projects are 50% upfront and 50% on delivery, or split into weekly payments.
What happens if a payment is late?
If a weekly invoice is more than 7 days overdue, work pauses until the account is up to date. Your accounts and content always stay yours.
How many posts a week does a business need?
For most local businesses, three to four posts plus one or two Reels a week is enough to stay visible. Consistency matters more than volume.
Do I need to send photos and videos?
Real photos and phone video of your team and work perform best. We send a simple monthly shot list and fill gaps with designed graphics.
Which platforms should my business use?
Usually Instagram and Facebook plus Google Business Profile. LinkedIn suits law firms and B2B, TikTok suits visual trades and younger audiences. Your free audit includes a recommendation.
Do I own the content?
Yes. Every file, video and design we make for you is yours to keep and reuse.
How fast is delivery?
Reel packs are usually delivered within five business days of receiving your footage.
How much should I spend on Facebook ads?
Many local businesses start with $20 to $50 a day. We recommend a budget after your free audit based on what a customer is worth to you.
How long until I see results?
Campaigns usually gather enough data to judge in two to four weeks. You get early numbers weekly.
Do you need my Facebook password?
No. You add Levela as a partner in your Business Manager.
What's a good starting budget for Google Ads?
It depends on cost per click in your industry and city. Many local service businesses start between $1,000 and $3,000 a month in ad spend.
Can you fix an existing account?
Yes. We audit it first, keep what's working, and restructure the rest.
Do you guarantee first place on Google?
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee rankings. We commit to the work that moves rankings and show you the results monthly.
Do I need a Google Business Profile in the US?
Yes, for local map rankings. It needs a real address or a defined service area. We'll help you set it up correctly.
How long does a landing page take?
Usually five to ten business days after we receive your content and brand assets.
Can you build pages for ads I run myself?
Yes. Many clients hire us just for landing pages.
Do you redesign existing websites?
Yes. We audit your current site, keep what works, and set up redirects so you don't lose rankings.
Which platform do you use?
Fast static sites for most service businesses, or WordPress when you need to edit a lot yourself.
Do I need experience?
No. We start from where you are, whether you've never opened Ads Manager or you've been boosting posts for years.
Do you cover Google Ads too?
Yes. Sessions can cover Meta, Google or both.
